something interestingly but not ostentatiously lugged, horizontal top tube, not overly gloopy paint finish, some chrome showing, something quirky in the build. To be honest there's a curly-stayed Hetchins out there somewhere with a Chater Lea chainset that makes me drool every time. Probably not much good for wheelies though.
in my own opinion, that would be the perfect LFGSS frame (but in 531 of course) to start off with, not too fussy with the lugwork, a classic track bike appearance (look at the fork for instance), quite affordable, and perfectly suitable for everyday riding.
for bonus point - on the seat stay, it should be stamped with 'LFGSS'.
(bike shown in picture is an Alien bikes frame with nicely tight geometry made with double-butted cro-mo).
