service in condor varies massivley depending on which person serves you... on the whole i seem to get one of the very helpful guys, but from experience i can see why the shop has that mixed reputation...
a few times i was served by some guys who were quite unhelpful and condescending about enquiries. (saying that i havent seen those boys working there in a while) they were the kind of assistant who says.."what do you want that for? your not racing properly..." it leaves you to thinking... im here to buy something.. id like your advice, but just because you race for the shop where you work doesn't mean your an olympic hopeful worthy of praise for contributions to the sport! your supposed to be encouraging people in cycling and selling people equipment with constructive advice. not snubbing someone who might want to start riding/racing a bit more seriously...
this was a couple of years ago... but does seem to match the experience of others...
