Those London Lights?

this sucks, i quit.

it's just some sad attempt at trying to be cool, pretty sad they caught onto it so late. Riding a fixed gear bike will never catch onto the masses as I guess the concept of it seems ridiculous to most...they have their lizards like it's 92

gusyup, i agree that it's bollocks, but it's to be expected. and i'm not being apathetic. just don't take it seriously or feel disappointed that some cockend has seen the £££ in aligning his/her company with the latest cool youth hobby, thereby trampling all over something you hold dear and running the risk of cheapening it forever.
capitalism/marketing does this to things. it happens to everything. is it really a surprise?
have you seen Bill Hicks' take on marketing?
p.s. vans did it well though.

i want to go paint the window with black tar, then leave a burning bag of shit on the door.
who's in? -

It was mentioned over a year ago in various posts but once the masses get hold of it and some silly twat gets killed cos he/she can't stop properly the govt. will try and ban fixedgear bikes - or atleast make everyone have a convensional brake on it

Those London Lights?
oooooo you cow, nobody dressed with such lack of co-ordination on that ride..
gus - I applaud thee yet I also urge thee to take it eezeee..
it's just a window dresser's big idea for Jan/Feb, it'll be gone soon.

the worst thing they ever did was with motor head shirts years ago. I was with my dad in brum and actually had an outburst of extreme expletives. Then came judas priest and maiden. The day it happens to a slayer shirt i'm mixing up styrene foam with petrol.

I once had a copper ask me where my brake was, had to lie and said it had a coaster brake.

the colours are just brighter, otherwise it is the same as the Vans window.
If it wasn't for the Vans window this might not have happened. Who did the Vans window again?
(for the record i don't care about this but find it funny that it is ok for Vans but not for Topman)

there are a lot of places around the world that demand at least one brake. but get a good lawyer and most of the time you can claim you legs as breaks ha

I remember being really pissed one night and there was a ted in a pub with a Ramones T on, I asked him to name one track, he told me to fuck off! Ha!

congratulations, you missed the point.

i'm sure urban outfitters did something similar a while back? So many brands have done it though, adidas, vans and nike i've heard. I really think nicks should relaunch and do something though, that would be most radical.

that's the kind of thing i'd do when pissed. Nothing annoys me more than fashionistas wearing black metal band shirts!!! go home!!!!!!!!!!!

UOF knocked a load out way back.
Also, on the same vain, was down Carnaby St today and there's only a fuckin GOLA shop there!? GOLA!!?!
hahaha that is absolutely classic! fixies are fully mainstream now! i think it's good that bicycles are getting more popular and who really gives a shit if they're used as a fashion accessory? dan flavin meets kevin bacon meets coco the clown.
