What are you listening to?

This is a nice mix from the beeb archives: Radio 1's Classic Essential Mix: High Contrast

Anyone else who is into the above, might like the London Elektricity Essential Mix that was about at the end of 2008. Google it and you'll find it no problem. Was really good :)

You'll probably find it on www.pearsontowers.com - there's not much that doesn't make it's way onto there, fantastic site.

One for rhb here as well - the Late Night Alumni stuff is produced by Ryan Raddon, whose recording name is Kaskade. I'm not ashamed to say I have his entire back catalogue. 'Seeing Julie', 'Tonight' and 'Charlie's Plight' on 'It's You, It's Me' are absolutely sublime, while there's some really good stuff on 'In the Moment' too.

As is the case with Kaskade unfortunately, some of it's a bit hit and miss - some fantastic deep house, some sublime vocal dance, and some odd repetitive techno stuff...

Re: the HedKandi stuff, I was well into ServeChilled #'s 1 & 2 the first time around - about 10 yrs ago now, never really got into their other series' as I was more of an indie kid back in the day before getting into more downtempo stuff.
