Why the fuck does Alan Shearer always get mentioned as the 'next potential manager' for clubs?

He's second favourite for the Derby job now, behind Nigel Clough. He's always linked everytime the Geordies sack a manager, he was mentioned for Blackburn, Forest, West Ham and now Derby!
He's a twat with no experience whatsoever and about as much charisma roadkill
