samS, at least you're your own person. Whatever bike you have, OTPs are considered the lesser cousins of the Fixed/SingleSpeed world. But you know what? My bikes are OTP so I obviously don't feel that its essential to impress others.

Just enjoy your bike mate. Over time, you may bling it, or move upmarket to something more custom than OTP. Its your choice.

Generally, Langsters are considered the Ford's of the SS world. My Bowery is of similar ilk; but I have a feeling that the abilities are very similar. Bob Jacksons, Mercians, Bob Mathers, and European or Japanese frames built up to full bikes, are the currency for the cognoscenti (ie. the Ferrari's so to speak). Me? I just like cycling with the one gear. I see you've been around a month or so - welcome.

thanx for the welcome i am currently riding a fuji track coz it only cost me 230

i am still at school (last year of a level) and work 1 sat a week so dont the money to spend on a nice frame fuji does the job for the moment
