Xmas ebay score build. Pennine Marilyn frame, eaarly 60's 531. Rust is a bit worse than the pics show, lots of pitting etc. Will re-chrome the frame in the end, but not yet.
This will be my first fixed build, mostly because i had no other plans for the frame but also to see what all the fuss is about!
Mudguards from my Carlton, may or may not stay. Campy seatpost that ended up costing more than the frame, butchered(crudely) an old b17 i had lying around using Skullys pics as a guide. Laced instead of bolted on the underside. This saddle was truely fucked so any work was an improvement.
Not sure about the Nitto stem, may swap it for the spearpoint GB i have somewhere.
More to come, but not soon as i have no more cash.
