8ball - '89 would be the second 'summer of love' - I guess you saw Future on tour? the club at Craven st closed when spectrum opened in '88 - I did some of M25 parties in '89 and they were fucking 'nuts' - it was huge - and the OB were clueless - after the Marchioness disaster in '89 they really started to clamp down - I could never really figure what a boat crashing into a bridge had to do with illegal house parties but that was the catalyst - good call on DJ Piere - know this one ?
