I'm K.I.A at the moment, bike is in the struts and I've just had that damned winter bug. But once I'm feeding the penguins again lets hustle it up for a big night ride? If we make a route using the google map tool? Suggestions: Starting place maybe the forum? Keep it in the city? Low milage 15-20m? Drinks after? Choose a metro time; i.e 6pm on a Friday?- to make the most of Norwich as a budding, neon, blaring, bladerunning simulacra. I'll put a post up on the facebook NFG page as well, should get at least 20 people.
Mypethip I see a pomp alot at the hospital with a freewheel and F&B brakes-yours?
Heart attack my limit is 17mph average for around 30 miles these days. But a few years ago when I was at the top of my game, I went out with the Pitt St boys on a saturday, that nearly finished me off, just got faster and faster and the run into Norwich itself was an all out chain gang.
Sorry to hear you not well, take it easy and recover fully. I may well be about for a Fri evening meet.
LOL on the VC Norwich/Pitt St ride, thats my club, today was a mild 60 miles, avg speed to the coast was only 17mph, coming back as you say a little more fun, nice and easy 18-19 till Buxton then it was 23+, and once we got to Spixworth it jumped again :) according to my computer the last 7 miles were an average of 27.3mph, it gets easier week by week and although I ride my fixed as a training bike its great fun knowing that there are fewer geared riders in front of me than behind :)
