What if you race road bikes? Riding a brakeless fix is actually going to hamper your cornering/descending skills since you won't KNOW how to use your brakes correctly. You need to learn how much to modulate going through that corner or how they respond when the rims are wet or.. you see my point?
As for the anticipation thing, it just means you have to ride slower so as not to run into shit. Fluidity, perhaps. I'd rather be fast than fluid.
