guys, the problem is fixed (no pun intended), i swapped the forks, no drilling involved...
smiling buddha, i wasn't looking for beef, okay... i have my reasons for not going brakeless, so that was never an option. I just don't like it when people get all militant "don't drill forks!", "go brakeless", "don't fix a road frame", "don't ride a track frame on the road"...
