Anytime fella. I'm asking £15 for a 'swallow' or tied 'swift' (<this is only on the drawing board at the moment - you could be the first?!). I'll deboss it with some lettering if you want some. I'm going to charge £20 pretty soon, once I've done a whole bunch of saddles. Then I won't feel like I'm undercutting Hassan. I just wanted to get better at it first.

Not trying to steal your thunder Skully, but VeLLo also has done a chop job on his own Brooks, that is very impressive. I'm hoping he might post a pic.

Still, when I buy a Brooks, I'm going to have you chop mine, as you are The Man.

No thunder stolen, GA2G! Lots of people on here chop their own saddles. As far as I know Hassanr and I are the only ones offering this to other people for a small fee. I'm still learning, and by no means 'the man'. Witness me debossing Fresh's old Wrights saddle with the 'F' upside down. DOH! Never again... Anyway of course I'd be honoured to chop a saddle for you. As long as I get a place on some kind of list of other.

I just debossed 'SKULLY' across the top of a b17 of mine, it looks lovely. Pics up when I get back to work in a week or so. I think it works better on honey saddles than dark ones, as the letters go darker than the hide around them. If anyone wants some lettering (only) done, I'd be happy to oblige for a pint.

As of now, I am happy to chop saddles sent by post back and forth, for people outside London, with at-cost postage.
