Snowboarding

i just find it really wrong that there's a snowboarding thread on a bike forum. how many people die snowboarding every year? surely there's a snowboarding forum you could all go to? just fuck off. go on, fuck off.

It does make me wonder (even amuse me) about the fact that the carbon emissions from short and long haul flights, in pursuit of a leisure activity, are broadly comparable to those emitted by motorists, a lot of whom (as much as we hate to admit it) are making journeys for work that would have been unreasonably difficult to make via more sustainable approaches. The amusing part is that this thread hasn't been subject to the same abuse that the car thread has...
