I spoke to wiggedoutwill today and I'm sure I said something like "Oliver's posts would be much better if he trimmed them down to 3 lines so I actually read 'em" and that ^^^^ proves it :)
I still think looking at each rider in the eye, seeing their sense of hope, seeing their fear and then confirming their fear, perhaps even being close enough to hear the sobbing start is much more satisfying. It's a more personal hatred you develop in the riders as well, the darkness is made all the more real as they repeat your words and disinterested stare over and over and over again on their solemn ride home... ahh... happy days.
