As in chain slack? I would try and get it as tight as possible personally - you dont want the chain skipping if thats your only brake

well, i'be been shaking it and trying to remove it, but alias nothing, it seemed fine, I just can't be bother to removed another link, but I'll get to it again to tighten it up, right now I just can't be arsed.

Also i always put a rubber shim on the inside of the bracket that attaches the arm to the frame, to stop it scraping the paintwork,

Actually I just used an old inner tube and wrap it around, good advice thought.
