Heh, I love annoying Kiwi by making an outrageous claim that they're Aussie.
a kiwi is just an aussie with all the self importance beaten out of them.
being serious for a moment (yes i can do serious) i'm good at spotting the kiwi accent so whenever meeting one they always let a little smile out when you say "whereabouts in new zealand are you from?" they are so used to being asked if they are australian.

it's amazing how ugly this bike look simply by not flipping the stem round.
short flat stem + raiser and it'll look like every single Bianchi Pista with a better bar set up on the road.
I had meant to comment on that picture by saying "waits for the legions of hipsters to start criticizing the stem angle.." because it was bound to happen.
so the award goes to you, ed, king of the hipsters.
Bikes should fit the rider, not other people's aesthetic preference.

I love that program, but have only seen a few episodes

built up a set of black ones yesterday and they seem solid as. They are definately not made by Giant and if you compare them to the bowery wheels they look completely different. Nice though, definately builds better than a deep V. Then again what doesnt?

hehe and because Flight are 'cool' New Zealanders... we own their arses too.
Any talent to come from NZ is so quickly adopted as our own, NZ may as well be called Tasmania2. :) -

with a set up straight from the shop? I had the most uncomfortable ride home when my Bianchi was set up with the stem like that and the bar positioned poorly (i.e. the bottom part isn't level).

er.. the bike should fit the rider.
that means adjusting it to suit, what works for you may not work for the white oury bloke

whilst i totally i understand everyone has their opinion, and i think it's that passion that makes this an intervesting forum to read. i did change to that set up for how it suited me to ride as RPM was kind enough to assume on my behalf.
anyway.. apologies for causing the reaction.

Thanks guys for the spoke comments!
We own NZ already.
The queenie is still on the coins so I don't think the Dutchies have it.
Maybe they do and just liked the look of the bird on the back?
I'm taking England for all I can so I can go back and buy Victoria. Should be nice.We dutchies havent got shit haha
We traded new(amsterdam) york against the republic of suriname :( -

The word is out - H plus Son will be releasing an aluminium track frame this year.
So exciting that I decided to start another thread in Bikes & Bits... instead of plluting this one.
~~The geometry / look will closely resemble the venerable cannondale (C1000?) track frame of yore (early 90s) except for the cantilever dropouts and HT angle. He even wants to supply low-rake steel forks as per the original.
I do not agree with cloning the geometry, and seems like tzusing is keen to tweak it a bit despite braying hoardes of hipsters asking for an exact clone.
Extensive [ame="http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=H+plus+frame+site%3Atarckbike.com&meta="]thread on tarckbike[/ame].com.
Man dem say price is undecided. should be 500-600+ dollars, and still deciding geometry / colours / whether plain guage / butted. Will be built in Taiwan.
The prototype doesn't have a seatstay bridge, tzusing reckons it doesnt affect it much, but production models will have it.~~

those rims are rebranded gippieme tecnos - and utterly shit - i got a set direct from gippieme that 14&co were planning to sell as a h+son alternative
there was about a mil of clearance between the joins all the way up to the weld on the tyre bed... i didnt even bother building them up. machined by chimps.

Just wait for the 24h H plus, summer isn't too far.
Talk to Martin in BLB and let him know you want some as soon as. Keep pestering too. -

can you not polish hplus rims yourself scott?
It would take time but provide the desired effect, or wrap them in aluminium foil ;)
-
• #249
the word is that there are the prototype deep(ER) section velocitys coming in to blb - only going to be available in polished silver at the moment...
worth a check -

The polish isn't the problem, it's the hole drilling you fool.
