Wow look at the steep almost vertical seat and head tubes! The owner of a car just like the one below, overheard a conversation of a bypassing couple; "see someone have painted the ugliest car in world in the worst possible color".

Forum top trumps would be awesome. You'd have to use scans of real top trumps, but they could be any deck about any subject - e.g. cars versus pets, or sharks vs skyscrapers.

Except different top trumps have different catagories....i very much doubt the skyscrapers top trumps would have a 'bite radius' catagory...:)

A confession: I am a failed Aussie. I can't surf, and I've never owned a Holden, or any type of ute. I would like to have shagged surfie chicks in the back of one of these, but unfortunately I was born too late, and was never cool enough.

What he said. Also, living 600k from the nearest coast didn't help. I also grew up in between two very successful speedway families. Nat champs, state champs, etc. My brother had one of those ^^ that we used to go 'roo shooting in. :)

I've been googling, and I cannot find classic sports car hire around Sorrento or Naples. New cars, sure... easy. But classic ones? Nope.
I found quite a few UK places, but then I have to drive all the way there and all the way back... and paying through the nose to sit on a French motorway isn't quite what I had in mind.
If anyone happens to know where you can hire a silver soft-top classic sports car around Naples... I would love to know.
Where's Yorgo? This could be an Intersection feature! Go on... help sort it out ;)

Hire it in Rome, and drive down.
have you no imagination? -

also, it may be worth contacting some of the UK classic hire companies and asking, as they many be able to sort it for you out in Italy one way or another.

Perhaps he has been run over by a supercar?
hey Paul, did you check out the STI yet? what was she like?

/attachments/3917 I must be out of touch with cars somewhat, last time I checked this was the fastest production car in the world? I think it still holds the record for the quickest 0-60-0 mph.
not any longer :)

I've always had a dream to rent one of these (at exhorbitant prices I'm sure) and to cruise around the Almafi coast in one, just like the opening scenes from the original Italian Job. I would wear a Saville Row suit, and exquisite sun glasses, and have some Andy Williams on the stereo (or something 'easy').
All of the rest is easy to find... just need to find someone who will rent me one of those Merc's.
Though, I could probably settle for an old Maserati, or Alfa.
when do you want to do that? this summer? I may be able to help, not sure for the SL but could find you a very good alternative...BTW...the Amalfi coast is superb for driving such a car

A quick check of www.ultimasports.co.uk tells me that the Ultima GTR is in fact the worlds fastest production car from 0-100-0 MPH.

my weekend hasn't been very festive, Im a little down. This time of year is hard for me at the best of times, I miss my father alot and with no family at all, I get a bit nostalgic at xmas , the latest mail fiasco here certainly hasnt helped.

Yeah I saw all that shit happening to you. Didn't really understand why all that was directed your way. Some members just like to hate it seems. If you don't. Fit in with their idea of what forum member should be then they just let rip. There's a few on here I have come accross that are very cliqucie. I don't bother talking to them, its a waste of energy.

I am on call on xmas day so boxing day will be my christmas day. I am on call now too so no alcohol for me. My company has a very strict drugs and booze policy. I am not as young as most of these kids so find it hard to drink like they do,lol. Plus I am acting manager at the moment so can't really miss work tomorrow cause of a hangover.

Shame you have to spend xmas alone. This is the time of year when being single or alone can really tell on you.
