but yeah, eccentric BB (or hub) will also do, so if it all goes wrong that'll be the next option. on another bike I'd dremel out a couple of mm from the dropouts too, but not on this one.

Yeah, that's what I did on my Klein, Dremel'ed myself a few mm of movement into the dropouts.
