Ive never been able to skate well enough to warrant going to a indoor park with ramps. Always wanted to have a roll around some concrete bowly type things, london has a few places right?

They have just redone meanwhile 2, im not sure about Meanwhile, stockwell is great if your reasonably confident on a board and just want to bomb round and carve but cant skate bowls

i suppose everyone has bikes, so getting round london shouldn;t be a problem (you can always get to a place as a "pack".

stockwell bowls are ok. when i was a yout i used to love it down there, but i went back since its been re-done and i'm not to sure.
all the new bits with coping are ridiculously steep, u've got 4 foot quarter pipes with 6 inches of vert...it makes no sense.
having said that, its still an awesome place to go for a skate - especially if carving, and general bombing around is ur thing (plus brixton cycles is next door). Personally i prefer minis, and bowls with coping (bowls of the normal variety, not vert ramps for midgets).

wish i lived in london there always seems to be somewhere to skate, rain or shine. Edinburgh's getting a park soon canny wait

Theres an underground carpark near st pauls that quite a few people skate at its warm and dry and the security are pretty cool

maaaate its strictly against skating now, i go there quite regualarly on my bike and there loads of no skating signs everywhere.

@slaytanic, you have the right idea, im definetly down for that, so we need find and agree upon a spot for a weekly meeting.

I was down there last weekend didnt have any trouble, I was talking to one of the security down there and he said it was cool to skate there as long as no rubbish gets left and no one takes cones or other crap like that down also as long as it doesnt get mega packed out which it does occationly on a wet weekend. But then again some of my mates did get booted last week but they were probally acting like twats, i think its largely down to what gaurds are on and how much of a bellend you are.
