Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

I grew up mainly around Fords and Holdens when I lived in NZ , there is always that strong rivalry between them, when I was 18 my bf at the time had a Ford Capri, it was a dog and I got my 1st real dislike for fords, then I too owned a ford ( telstar) which was also a lemon, my father bought me a VN Berlina ( Holden) for my 21st and I was sold... that was until I was 24 and experianced the likes of BMW, Audi etc...

My favourite Ford and the first car I ever drove, it'll always have a special place in my heart =P

I assume the Telstar would be a bit of a lemon though.
