Good chance you will make a cock-up (I made two or three). Just make sure you give yourself time from the outset, unlace the cocked up bit and redo (Sheldon Browns advice really).
Mine still need a little truing (doing this in my frame aided by zip ties as guides) but they look great (to me at least).
