So i think my Aende is now finished - i stripped it of all stickers (frame ones were peeling badly so kind of forced my hand), time atac pedals, Campag skeleton brake with cane creek cross top lever, and finally Michelin Iron Man tires scrubbed of all decals.
Working on a cyclocross/ urban monster bastard breed fixed at the mo which should be all together after the weekend, i think it will definitely split opinion!

- variety grit of sand paper.. 180 / 320 / 1000 wet / 2000 wet
- dremel tool with wire brush and soft polishing head
- EASY OFF OVEN cleaner ( with lye very important)
- meguiar's metal polish
- terry cloth
- chamois
Mmmmmmm shiny bits.......
{insert drooling homer pic here!}mmmmmm shinnnyyyy....
Very nice. I bet you have hand cramp!
yes i can barely type as is...
what ever you whip those on to it'll look absolutely dangerous, like a speeding bullet, unless your a slow poke that is
well.. it is too bad that all this stuff weighs about a ton on the bike and in the velodrome its heavy and slow... but i try my best .... rather use something super lightweight stiff and alum/carbon to race on tho.... this is just to loook at on those lonely friday nights and or ride on those training rides in the velo where i just have to keep up with the fatties.....

Does that mean you also have a Charge frame with Langster bars and seat on it? I want to see a picture of that!
Man, you should start a business creating hybrids of off the peg fixed gear bikes.

surprisingly nice to ride, especially with 28's. now i can flip the rear over without hassle, polo and road gear. still waiting for bmx forks.

nice one teens
ive just come into posession of a similar falcon merkx in classic orange. the derailleurs are pretty rusty and pretty much screwed so i think im gonna puppy kill it.
mines heavy and unlabled so im guessing its gaspipe. its not that heavy though and i reckon with choice componants and modern wheels i can get it to an acceptable weight.
