I'm happy to leave earlier if that suits other people. There are the same trains an hour earlier so could meet there at 8.45 and get there an hour earlier.
By the way, I've just ordered some torches which are meant to be pretty good as mtb lights so some time in the new year I'm gonna do a half day/half night ride if anyone's interested.
