Anyway, those ceramic jobbies are shit for rim brakes. The braking surface might last forever but you will have crashed into something before then and totalled them anyway!
So, are the black ones considered the "CD" or not?
I ran a ceramic open pro with V-brakes on my Klein (now sadly departed) and the braking power was (for V-brakes) awe inspiring.
I could lift the back wheel up into a lovely long stoppie as the power and modulation were spot on.
I "upgraded" to a disc brake, and apart from in heavy rain/thick mud the old V-brake/ceramic rim combo was far superior.
