Just arrived back after my first Trixie Dix. That was great!
Thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. If anybody wants to help me I could really do with a back wheel (of any type) that is fixed.
Cheers all. -

especially with Oscar ´surfing´on his bike, I notice we all pretty much stopped and stare at him doing his trick, not just because of the unusual trick but of the sheer drop he´d fall over the fench if he cock it up.

Fell off? Never! I carried on for the length of the carpark!
Nice one, great photo's. Another great evening, and lovely to see everyone again. Just you all wait, next week crabtree and I are going to have this wheelie palava nailed down.

Two thumbs up. Cheers Crabtree and Bristly for the trackstanding advice and good company. I'll definitely be back on that rooftop next week. Oh to be confident enough to attempt them strapped in. That might take some time...
Lovely photos, Ed. Nice to finally meet you last night.

I liked the trick Andy was trying out - sort of a wheelie pulled up almost vertical then a 360 or more. Looked very good. one of these days eh.

I counted 38 people on the roof last night... With or whitout their bikes but hey... Thats a start !!!
-
• #1019
Where and when do you guys meet at as I really want to learn to trick and really don't want to search through 20 pages of posts...
-
• #1020
6:30pm onwards
every tuesday
top floor of the multi-storey carpark on whites row
just south of Spital Fields Marketbring beers and sweets
perhaps it's worth some moderator type changing the details on the first post.

do you go down to the next level (or the one under that) if it's raining?
I'll definitely be there next week as I'm currently sorting out my fixed gear conversion. Might be a dodgy one though, as I'll be using the old BB lock ring on the same thread to lock the cog on:-S Not sure how it's going to work yet, but fingers crossed! -

Nice guys. You accept novices and relatively unknowns forumengers to come and watch? I can barely wheelie let alone do a 720.

too much counting, not enough tricks! ;)

That's usually the whole point of trixie dix, to learn some move, hence why I went: to be able to learn how to trackstand.

Doubt we'd go a floor down, as the roof is so rediculously low!
BP - do you know how long the disco is on for?
Just charging some batteries for my flash and i shall be rollin'.
