Mine were fucked after riding about a mile. It wasn't skidding the fuck out of them, just applying a bit of pressure backwards and they went.

600s fitted. Pulled the BB out of the Raleigh and surprisingly the UN73 was in perfect condition (little bit of surface rust (bb shell has cutouts).
Basically have just swapped on the old Raleigh driveline. Need tubes, tyres, headset spacers, shorter stem, bars and brakes of some sort.

Yes, I questioned that sentence too. It appeared in edited form as it was but I still wasn't happy with it and then I lost interest.

My first project (and the first fixed-gear in this town - fixed is not a very big thing in Holland yet and definitely not up north) all finished! Old Hopmans frame (Columbus steel, stripped and re-painted) with a Surly New Road flip-flop, Campy kit and Shimano brakes (didn't have any Campy brakes left...). It's got front and rear brakes because of the free-side, which I also want to use occasionally.The saddle and pedals have by now been replaced by a black San Marco Corsaire and grey Look-system clipless pedals and I still want to replace the front rim when the money's back...

Just finished putting the Mercian back together after getting it back after my accident. Still experimenting with bar set-up atm. Shite phone pictures until I get a camera.

I've already fitted the 600s. Black 75s on a commuter is a bit overkill.

We are moving office again soon though so if I get a safe parking spot back.. ya never know..
