Each time I come back to this thread I hope to find good news.
+1
when I used to ride mtb, my mate Ben who has 2 brooklyns (race link and mini link, I think) always used to get lots of interest in his bike. we bumped into another guy riding in Kent who had a yellow one, can't remember which one (racelink, I think), they are so rare that people always ask. nobody would be able to ride this in public, even on the streets, without someone asking questions. It's already been said I know.
hoping for a positive outcome for you Scott

Sorry to hear of this Scott.
What is the scenario if someone spots it being ridden in the street? Is it worth calling the cops?
Its all well and good talking about D locking folk and dishing out other forms of cycling related torture but if it seen being ridden by a thugged out looking cnut or a gang of fuck-wits I doubt much would/could be done.
Or would you rather deal with it yourself (+ some backup)? -

save scott's number to your phone and follow at a safe distance - no doubt he'll arrange the rest

Poor you, my bike was stolen from the ecotort theater in hackney last week, so this post is a request for all our friends in London to keep their eyes out for this bicycle. Fixed gear, mavic rims, orange handlebar tape, blue ellis briggs frame (shipley, yorks) with damage near the front chain ring and single shimano front brake. Email lucy@magnificentrevolution.org if you spot it. See a pic here http://www.magnificentrevolution.org/2008/10/bike-theives-suck/

Definitely not the right place to post your missing bike. Use the other threads that already exist.

It should be pretty easy to spot so if anybody sees anything please call me on 07815679918...cos i'm pretty f*cking angry right now and would like to meet the offender!
Thanks!unlucky mate that looks like one hell of a fun ride
