Got a real hankering for the Pureblood frameset (not exactly cheap though).

Could build it up using The white ind double double for on-road (38:16) off-road (35:18) goodness.
Simply build it up singlespeed with a hope pro II single/trials hub. Then you could add a derailer + up to 6 sprockets whenever you fancy using it geared (well six speed) for a while (great for poor people like me who need versitility).
If your into hub gears. I did ponder a shimano alfine (with 18T or 20T sprocket) + the white ind chainset above for a dual eight speed system for off-road/ on-road use (three tooth diff on chainset might be too much for slidding dropouts though).
At the moment though I think I will continue using the mantra - One need, one bike, one gear
(at least till the misses leaves me)
