two reason I can think of is that it´s not exactly the nicest looking bike, it look like a racing bikes that have a track dropout (as most OTP does), and of course the idioctic London branded one (other city like NYC, Boston, Seattle actually look nicer), and secondly, think of it as a Volkswagen Golf, a decent reliable good looking car, they´re great but a bit boring when everyone have them and not that special.
I know that you know you´d really like to have an OTP bike like a classy Fixie Inc. Blackjack;
I don´t think my bike is that classic, it look very HHSB due to the rims and colourful bar.
