mudguards is where it's at, if you get the full versions, like i have, you won't get a drop on you, they are fantastic, especially if you use your bike to work and so on.

OK, yesterday was ridiculous. I got soaked to the skin every time I went out.
It's time for me to get mudguards.
Anyone have recommendations?
Thanks

I've got the sks race blades, couldn't use the front as it didn't really fit the cut of my fork. But the rear is fine it just needs a bit of care with initial set up and use, otherwise you have to adjust it constantly to stop it from rubbing against the wheel, which gets a bit annoying, but rather that than a wet arse....

Cheap Decathlon ones work for me.Easily removed at work to stop the tealeaves helping themselves

cheers!

SKS Raceblades FTW
But seriously Sano, do a fucking search!

sks baby, all the way. I think the ones with two stays holding the guard rather than one are more stable and better to get the clearances right
If you have to chop any stays down don't forget to file them off and use those rubber ends to prevent this sort of thing happening to your shin:
But I imagine you might like something like this: They're called SKS 'Beavertail'.
Which is nice.

Did you try them with the extender blocks? I had do some serious fiddling to find the right combination on my forks but now have them setup perfick.

i'm using the raceblade mudguards form BLB and they're ok, once you get them set up right they will stay there for long and you can take the rear wheel off without the need to move them.
if you do please pm me if you want someone to take them off your hands in exchange for some of our finest english pounds
