spotted these cheeky pieces while walking around Tokyo, mainly Harajuku and Omotesando. I was pretty taken with the rims on the white one.
As a slight aside to the posting of pics, is anyone going to the Cyclemode show this weekend in Makuhari Messe?

Just a little footage of them going down an incline (hill) to some hipster sountrack and they could sell the DVD. Afterall, he is going down it backwards, no?
Add footage of them negotiating a round about and I'd buy it. Backwards circles FTW -

Possibly the first time I've seen gold rims/hubs and liked the look of it.

Stickers on rims fail but aside from that easily mended indiscretion it's a peach

Typing a question while it's being answered by someone else but not knowing as your page hasn't been refreshed because you're writing the question that's being answered thus causing unneccessary posting and wasting bike porn space fail...my bad ;)

Isn't the saddle called Selle Storika?

@Nahguavkire What is the big travesty with rim stickers? It seems like one of those things a few cool kids started off saying now its become de rigueur to state it as the biggest faux par, EVER (...well since Gordon Brown blacked up to get closer to obhama)

I don't mind the stickers, I think it suits some bikes. But remember they are evil, they sell drugs to kids.

The saddle is Selle Italia storika. I think its been discontinued though.
Got mine as a slight second off EBay for about 30 notes (usually cost around £70 I think).
Its got titanium rails coloured to look like copper and weighs nought.
Its hard, but I find it comfy. Am still waiting for the leather to shape itself to my pert botty though.
Shapewise based on the Flite. -

I know it may be considered hipster to like a lot of certain aspects or avenues of bike design such as no stickers, no bar tape etc. However I have to put my hands up and say I actually like the aesthetic, I don't really have any friends that ride and I'm not trying to fit into some hipster clique but by my own volition my bike appears as what many would call hipster...however I just happen to like it like that...equal to that I think you have to consider that the anti-hipster brigade has gotten to a stage of anti-hipsterism that they themselves are making as big an effort to avoid conforming to an image which is essentially what they are berating the hipsters for doing...
Oh and I think if you really look at the above bike it has some beautiful clutter free lines, no stickers anywhere else which gives it a super clean tidy look and to be honest I tink the stickers upset the look of this bike and that it would be far tastier without them... :D
