You can use the Yamo (or equivalent) front/back/side.
I was out with mine (I think around the 11kg mark) on Sunday, and he didn't feel like a major burden. Well, less of a burden than a buggy in a lot of situations.
I'll reassess the weight issue on his 3rd birthday...

..Tell me about it. Feckin narrow, cobbled Amsterdam streets!
Will check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

I think there are a lot of people on here who pump up their tyres too much, both for general and (especially) wet weather riding... as well as being shit at bike handling.
That is aimed at no-one in particular.I don't, and I tell you both Rubino's and Zaffiro's suck in the wet, I don't mind riding Rubino's on dry roads though, also I don't mind riding them in the wet, but I know that they are slippery in the wet. I normally run my tires at 8 bars (thats about 115psi), which fits my weight pretty well.
The tires I have best experience with in the wet are TriComp's, Schwalbe Stelvio Plus.. and Vittoria Open Pro's seem to grip pretty well too, only used it on my front with NoBrake[tm] though.

There's loads of people putting in the max psi, 'cos that'll make you faster'. It's bullshit, unless you're on the boards or totally smooth roads, and adds to the risk of washing out in greasy conditions.
I'm sure 115psi is spot-on for your weight/typical riding conditions, but for anyone under 70kg, it wouldn't help either speed, grip, or comfort - except in the aforementioned contexts.
I agree that basic Rubinos, or the Intrepid TT ones have a compound that's a bit too hard, and aren't the best grippers. But I've got no complaints about the Rubino Pros in the shittest of conditions, where due to fatigue (on my part) their powers of wet weather/mucky road adhesion have been well and truly tested. On a par with Vred Tricomps, and better than Michelin Pro2Races which have unnerved me a bit in corners in competition.
In case anyone cares, I'm usually somewhere around the 64kg mark, and tend to run 95 in the front and 100 in the back, and sometimes 5psi higher in good weather... and I seem to roll downhill faster than a lot of people on rock hard über clinchers.
I'll stand by my original assertion, which to reiterate, wasn't aimed at anyone in particular.

I run Rubino Pros at 8bar/115psi on the S-Works for most stuff, unless it's hella wet and I'll drop it down 10psi.
I run Rubino, Rubino Pro on the WAC-mobile at 7bar/100psi but I leave this run down for a lot longer than the S-Works which gets a top-up every outing. So, if I was to measure the Cuntsters tyre pressure now it'd probably be closer to 80psi up front and 90psi rear.
I weigh 90-95kg and I'm faster than everyone in this thread, wet, dry, pissed, sober, pregnant, whatever. ;)

Try skidding on a Rubino Pro in wet weather.. and then on a TriComp, you'll notice the difference :)
But i guess you are right about the pressure, I'm at 95kg so need a bit more pressure than most I guess.
edit: Oh, but about Rubino's are actually really funny to ride in the summer for skidding around the city like some sort of mad-man.. only lasts about 3 weeks on my daily commute if I ride like that ;)

I've skidded on both, for a nanosecond, and never intentionally ;)

So Jb, that's sorted. Rubinos are very good/awful in the wet, don't pump your tyres up too much/pump your tyres up more, skid/don't skid/, Hippy is faster/fatter than everyone else.

Ha!
Had a front loading one. But he's too big now. Weighed today, 10.3Kg.
No fun carrying that around all day.
