I think my stupidest injury was last week. I was caning it on my BMX, hopped pretty high to make a regular gap I do on the way to uni, and mid-air over this gap my left hand just spazzed and let go of the bars. My front wheel just fell straight out of the air, hit the kerb and I went flying straight over the bars and knocked myself out. Next thing I know some girl is pulling my bike off me asking if I want a hand getting up. All I can think is it's quite comfortable lying on the floor and I might go to sleep.
Ended up with a nice patch of skin missing on my hand, some short term memory loss, and I was pretty much unable to walk for about 3 days afterwards. I rang my mate to pick me up as I was feeling a bit sick and he found me walking along the pavement examining shrubbery. I can't quite remember what I was doing...
It's always handy when your hands just do what they want mid-flight.
