also, the cars on country roads are invariably driving at 80 mph and don't like to slow down if they can possibly help it.

ahh especially in place like the lake district, the narrow road with cars bombing down at 40-50mph is fucking scary sometime, even more scarier when they could easily have a collision with another car coming the other direction that was hard to tell with the tall hedge and sharp corner.
