I'm not bothering with mondays, not enough light anymore. and it's for inducers really.
you did the right thing Phil, now eat lots of carbs and have a good ride tomorrow

ok guys, today (11/10/08) the banking in the shade was wet and training was called off, even in this lovely weather!
I was told apparently those who went to induct today will get one next week, but no further inductions will be given.
after next week experienced riders only, weather permitting.
it really is looking like the end of the run.

it really is looking like the end of the run.
Bloody drama queen... ;p
-
• #16
I say that to tempt fate into proving me wrong..
could backfire though
-
• #17
If the weather is good next week I'll be there. If not anyone fancy a ride?
-
• #18
abso-fuckin-lutely
-
• #19
Yes I need a ride. Not done much since the track day to be honest and was almost over taken by a roadie on my way to work this morning! Didn't appreciate that, though the combined 17 pints and various other crap I consumed over the weekend may have had some bearing on it...
So yeah, what did you have in mind? I would quite like to do some circuits of Richmond Park at some point -
• #20
Mike that sounds like a nightmare! A roadie nearly over taking you! I hope you skidded across his front wheel. Bastard's should learn their place!
I think a few laps of RP is a good start, maybe when that starts to get a bit boreing we could find a good training loop somwhere? or afew maybe one south, one north, east and west, you get me? -
• #21
I just posted on the welcome thread for trackies re richmond rides.
lets start on saturday.
-
• #22
James just read your welcome post and that sounds awesome! I like a nice coffee. And it means we dont have to mix with the tampons that show off their shiny bikes that will never get to go anywhere other than the park.

i m going down next saturday 24th to get some training in weather permitting, before the the clocks go back doodes.. is anybody goin down h/hill that week end or is it all over...?
-
• #24
weather permitting, it'll be on.
no more inductions and 1100-1300 experienced riders only from what DC told told me -
• #25
I'll be holed up in the new Rolla lockup at HH wielding a hammer, drinking tea and chipping paint off perfectly good bikes....
another wicked session, shame about the late start cos of the fog! but once the sun came through it was hot.
good to beat some of LFGSS' own "A" cats today, don't know where I left my legs last Sunday but things have improved massively today.
The general talk is that they will continue to run saturday training until we get three consecutive weeks of bad weather, resulting in call-offs. So no actual finish date.
of course, at some point it'll happen and the moss will begin to grow on the back turn, but until then we can hope for more good weather, we may end up running well into November, or we may end up not getting on the track until next spring!
