ZRMY, is it this weekend you are in Zurich?
If not, I would really like to play on Sunday morning.

Yep. This Sunday is Zurich.

ZRMY, in that case, we can do this Wednesday 15th in Peckham, or the following weekend 25th/26th on an outdoor court tbc.

-
• #112
almost 100% painless now strangely. Ice made it un-swell super fast.
-
• #113
thinking about knee pads though now

Gabes was using a pair of my knee pads on Saturday and seemed to get on with them pretty well. They're the soft cap, Kevlar pads used by BMX and/or skaters.

Can I borrow them for when we play ZRMY please?

You'd need to ask Gabes as I've given them to him on a long term loan basis (He's bored of killing his knees)

I'm just trying to justify making it my home court too... i love it already although i haven't played on it yet!
I like the length of the court and the size of the goals, meaning people weren't sitting in the goals, but out attacking.
NOt sure about the wall riding though.
I have no problems playing our away game there. As the home team, you reserve the rights to make court specific rules. i.e. tap out on the bank or on the wall at the top of the bank? If the ball goes in a hole, can you foot down to fish it out? What can/can't happen if the ball goes out the ramp?

results from last nights games
Blimey, despite the wet conditions and the 'Corner of Doom'. The games went surprisingly well.
If my calculations are correct it was ZRMY - JiHaD. 5-3. 5-1. 5-2.
Anyone back that up?as JOL said, loads of fun despite the slick conditions. and Yorgo wins for being the only one to stay on his bike :)

Nice one.
I can't comment on the wall ride tap out as I am yet to play there, but yeah, I would probably suggest tapping the bank rather than the wall.
I really liked the Boelyn Rd court (home of the Sick Buckets) but the balls were difficult to fish out from behind the goals meaning the scoring team had plenty of time to tap in and start attacking again. The west goal has a hole behind it and you have to dismount to get it out.

Can I have a home game rule that if anyone chucks a mallet at me to purposely prevent me from getting to the ball, then they have to go to a 'sin bin' and trackstand for 5 seconds before being allowed to re-join the game. Or is it just 'court' rules that I am allowed to enforce? ;)
