I went. Saw the BMX display which was impressive. Saw a bit of the fashion show which was not. It was clear that none of the models (female or male) had even been on a bike.
The Charge stand was good but so was the BLB one, the Tokio Fixed and the Pearson. Spent some time pouring over the Garmin Edge 705s, sufficiently, I hope, to have dropped a gentle hint about Christmas.
Took the wife and daughters, who all seemed to enjoy themselves. Have promised the elder one a fixie if she gets into a decent university for next year. Thankfully she has learnt to appreciate the advantages of a fixie over a Pashley.
All in all, a good day of Bike Porn.
