I gather that bikes are only allowed up the side up the side that you went, then?
I got a telling off from the Wiggams for riding up the other side about a month ago.

to be honest, i don't no for sure what the deal is on that stretch of pavement but i ride on it everyday and i've been spotted loads by feds (even rode past bobbies on foot a few times) and never been pulled up on it. the lights wouldn't make sense if you couldn't cross the street on your bike so i guess if i was ever asked, that would be a good excuse.
