Are people still meeting at Roehamton gate at 7?Cheers mate.. Well the deraillier hanger needs replacing and possibly the rear deraillier itself, and i think the rear wheel needs re-trueing , but i'm hoping thats it. Nothing i cant/wont enjoy doing at the weekend.. Haven't been arsed to check it all over yet as the anti inflamitories i have for my hip seem to be making me incredibly drousy... The most annoying aspect of it all is not being able to ride even my fixed, although i may give it a go friday, as she's getting a front brake added :)
Hopefully i'll be alright to make it to my first session down at south beers on Monday.. -

Damn! I really wanted to ride with you this week, but I guess we can take it easy now instead ;-). Tell your mates to say hello and we can all ride together. See you next time sir.

I'm still on for Thurs, Jim. 7.0 Roehampton Gate. It will be the fixed machine so I won't be flying, but should be able to get in a couple of laps..bringing my BRIGHT lamps to give those complacent deer some reason to lift their heads.
Shame you're out, Paul and Gus, -Hope to see some of you others in RP or at Westies after.

I'll be fixed this week I think. I've never done a fixed lap of the park. See you all there at Roehampton gate.

I'll see you there tonight, guys, will be a nice little detour en-route to Westies at the Crabtree. Might struggle to be there at 7.00, but will roll up to Roehampton gate and wait to slip into the slipstream when you pass. Weather forecast still hunky dory apparently.

looking to make it tonight...anyone coming from central London?

like dropout might show my face at this before heading over to westies, not sure about what time I'll be finishing work so mark me down as a possible.

Met Claus, Hillbilly and Dropout for some circling of Richmond Park - lovely with dusk/early evening light and barely a car to be seen. Things took an interesting turn when my seatpost bolt snapped belting down one of the hills giving me temporary wobbles. Thanks Claus and particularly Hillbilly for getting me back on track. Didn't fancy cycling across town without a saddle. Hopefully back again next week

Was a bit of a scary moment when your saddle came off but you mastered it well. Took me till Sawyers Hill to catch up with Dropout, turned out he didn't recognised us when he went past while we were sorting the saddle. It is very dark out there even with clear sky and full moon, one has to take extra care.
Good ride though, hopefully back again next week.
I am keen to give it a go but am out for the next couple of weeks
