  • I'll be going along to look at all the shineys and lovelies. How about you?

Mr and Mrs Boodangle are going if they manage to negotiate their way to That London...

  • 10 Minutes slow walk from my flat, so I might try to shinny up the drainpipe to avoid paying for entry. See you there Van.

Will you do us a list of what's there?

  • I'm going tomorrow.

  • 1) VanUden
    2) Granville
    3) Boodangle
    4) Mrs Boodangle

Am I doing this right Granville?

  • I think i am going to go tomorrow too

So I make a couple lists, and then everyone procurs the urine. :(

  • I'm disappointed, that nobody made a funny about a paunchy fella shinnying up a drainpipe.

The comedians must be asleep at their desks. Tis a pity. I wanted a bubblebath.

  • It's only affectionate jossing - well, it is on my part anyway...

  • Plats, I know you're okay mate. I like the jokes.

I wish I knew what Farid thought of all these lists. Now, THAT would be funny. I'm grinning at the thought.

  • I'll keep an eye out for you Ashe. How will I recognise any others should our paths cross?

  • I suggest we all wear a big red S on our chests. I'm sure that's never been done before. :))

  • Just saw the bbc London report on it.. Apparently they'll be show-casing the 'electronic shift system'

    http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2008/07/31/electronic-shift-for.html

"The shifting is mind-blowing: I mean, you just touch the button, and it shifts."

  • It will be full of cycle-nerds.
At least on the street I am fast enough to pedal away from them, at a bike show you would be stuck elbow to elbow with the dozy pricks.
A bit like stopping at a red-light and the ASL keeps filling up with morons, but this time the lights never change.

  • I doubt there'll be any nerds. I'm only going for the chicks. Chicks all love the sensitive beauty of fine engineering tolerances.

  • I was there today, and there are no chicks.

    Just nerds.

    Including me.

  • Quelle surprise...

  • lots of nerds
    lots of ugly bikes
lots of idiots but x100 more tomorrow.

there were some chicks but bike porn was probably better.

  • it was ok this morning..

girl with plastic boobies on the conti stand, not much else to look at, bar a few nice track bikes (track, not fixie fashion bollox)

but I wouldn't want to go on the punter's days

  • im headin along sat, not sure what to expect but thought i'd take the chance now im so close compared to glasgow

  • Found these flickr pix

    awesome!!
how cool is the charge stand!

  • On a one to ten scale? Maybe six - tops...

  • I loved the Charge stand, irreverent and well done, there's even a steam outlet......certainly different to the norm and stands out.

a plethora of Condor fixeds...think they've struck the balance between current trends, their history and individuality pretty well.....

apart from getting through my list of people I needed to see I spent the rest of the time looking at kid's bikes and working out just how soon I can get my 5 month old his first three wheeler.....tour de ville were roaming and chatted with Tom on BLB stand who managed to get a snap of me on the "interesting" BC powerbike thingys.

got beaten by RPM bythe way.....
