The performance difference between necking 20 espressos and taking a program of CERA is rather marked though.
Personally I'm all for allowing pro cyclists to take the same over the counter medicines that you and I can take as they have minimal impact on performance. On the other hand, drugs like EPO, which clearly give major performance improvements should remain on the banned list.
