• I think what you pay for with the Fuji Track is the frame. And it's a perfectly good frame. The components themselves are pretty cheap and although I bought an '08 track as a sort of stop-gap bike while I did up a vintage frame I found myself really enjoying riding it and decided to upgrade one or two bits, this soon turned into more. All that's original on it now are the frame, fork, and wheels. Replaced the stem, pedals (Smarty - Crank Bros), bars, saddle, Cane Creek lever, Shimano Ultegra 6600 caliper, tightened all the spokes by 1/4 of a turn and wheels feel better for it, 18 tooth sprocket on the back, swapped over the tires to Continental Grand Prix 4 Season as the original tires really were quite dreadful (only go up to 90 psi).
