Even the Cannondale
After hating the Cannondale immensely, I went back to look at it to examine WHY I dislike it so much. Then I realise that the colouring is much more clever than I'd thought. The lilac grips and chain give the bike a lilac hue - which is nasty. But, the rest of the bike is white with 2 shades of grey - all pretty neutral colours. Therefore, a silver chain and say black grips, will make the bike look more white, or silver-ish. Perfect for changing the look. This has been planned, or Cannondale are lucky.

Or even white tyres, I'd change the very queer looking dropbar thought, it look like a coathanger! (hey that an idea, old drop bar transformed into an handy coathanger..).
nice to meet you as well! I notice where the photo you took of your cannondale came from.
Slack chain anyone?Did they just add a singlespeed option to the Pista? (noticing the rear brake as well).

Ha! 2009 is all about modern frame with chopped Brooks. MFCB, you heard it here first ;-)

Raleigh Rush Hour.
I must says that it look great, especially the lugged fork and the frame protection from the drop bar (whatever that is called), shame it's U.S. only, otherwise I'd go for that.

Don't know about the frame protector thing. It looks like a break-away?

Well it had to happen didn't it? Other makers have decided that Bianchi can't have "Celeste" all to itself.
Here is the Felt Breed 2009.
Just a thought, but did somebody here tell Felt that "Breed" is the Brixton word for "coitus"?
C'mon, fess up.
EDIT: Fark! Those tyres are for Cyclo-cross and are way wide at 700x38. They've got to go.

Looks like Surly will be doing their 29" mountain bike, known as Karate Monkey, as a complete bike soon - rigid and single-speed, in red with black bits

Just took delivery of my Bowery '84 and while assembling it I have noted the following:
The bars look shit - in the picture they look chrome, but they're just silver (wank)
The stem is nothing like the picture (a blessing in disguise)
The Giant (Cunt) decal is not gold, but yellow
The cranks on the 'Small' are 165mm messengers and chainring is black and not silver as in the picture.
Quite like the seat, but it doesn't suit the bike.I know most of you will be pissing yourself laughing anyway, but thought I thought I'd post this for those who have a modicum of interest

can you take a photo of your Bowery? we´re not pissing ourselves laughing (at least I am not).
the black chainring also a bit of a blessing in disguise to make it less HHSB-like.

you´re right the saddle doesn´t suit it at all, the handlebar is indeed rather strange.
-
• #119
you would have to buy the wrong sized frame to grab the bull by the horns surely?
-
• #120
The bars probably look ok on a bigger frame, but they look mahoosive on my small one.
Bars, stem, seat, cranks and pedals have to go
-
• #121
fuck me, whoever thought it was a good idea to use those bars and that saddle needs to be sacked.

Check out the Langster 2009 Tokyo edition.
My vote goes to the '09 Genesis Flyer in lime green with white forks. Frickin' beauty!

that vigorelli caused some trouser activity in my err... trouser region.
That new Pista has had the life and soul kicked out of it. What a hideously dull way to spend £450.
