if you cant find the problem and mess with it and then take it back to the shop, they are within their rights to tell you to fuck off as (i assume) you arent a qualified mechanic who works at said shop. so if you've removed stuff, they might say bad luck sucker, you caused the problem, therefore, any repair aint free... leave it alone, take it back, kick up a fuss and tell them to sort it. like 'jamas said, you wouldnt do it with a new washing machine, or a car. hell, it could be something real simple or something real bad like a cracked frame, but ultimately it isnt your responsibility to sherlock out the problem.
