Hi,
I am new. This is my first post, to introduce myself.
I've finally decided to scratch the itch that has been developing for some time and build myself a fixed wheel bike. To this end I have obtained an old Harry Quinn frame and am collecting parts. I am sure I will be asking you guys some questions on the way (I'm completely undecided about wheels for a start), and once the thing is built I would like to meet a few of you at the 'TrixieDix' car park evening or Brick Lane polo.
I'm currently rocking a lovely 1974 Raleigh Superbe, complete with Sturmey Archer 3 speed, rod brakes and a wicker basket. I used to ride my Dad's old Falcon San Remo, and his Harry Quinn road racer (which was light as a feather but I kept banging my size 11s on the front wheel) and I have a crappy Saracen mountain bike which is just a pointless overcomplicated lump really.
