thanks tika,
aroogah did you get the gore one? I'm a sweatbeast as well and naturally quite warm, I've ridden the past couple of winters in just a thick long sleeved cycling top, so if the gores a bit too thick, might go with the softshell

I ordered the jeans and hiding hoody of the UK site (mozz cycling) and it arrived next day. Green Milwaukee hoody out of stock tho. Free postage and next day delivery. So for the smidgeon (a very under used word methinks) more you pay i think it's worth it.

Nah...the softshell for stock reasons...it is quite thick and warm. If we have a cold winter I'll be laughing.

I cycle from the Barbican to Wandsworth every night (return commute), leave around 6ish...if anyone wants to feel my softshell (phwoar) they're welcome...can deviate my route (within reason!), for a comparison too...
Mine (gore-tex) is also available for comparison, and I'm happy to ride it over to wherever you are (though less so before Monday's deadline).

Sound like the hoodies will be too warm for me as I sweat so much. I'm going to get one of the windbreakers.

I stumped up for the softshell hoodie a couple weeks ago and its great, kept me warm now the mornings are gettin chilly. No tests in the rain yet (thankfully!)

Corny, you're welcome to try mine when you're back at S-drinks, its the softshell version and very nice, slimish fit so I went for the XL which is perfick. Softshell trousers you say? ooooh.

I know this is a long shot, but if people are heading down to the track day on sunday, could you drag along your new swrve purchase, I'm thinking milwaukee hoodies and windbreakers, so I can have a look see. The weather looks like it'll be good for sunday, so it might not be cold enough or rainy enough for you to wear them down, but if you could bundle up in your bag, for a poor forumenger to have a look at in between the racing and jumbling it would be much appreciated..
many thanks

you're a star, obviously won't try it on, but it'll be nice to see how thick the fabric is...

Corny, I've been rocking the softshell for a while now and its a total winner - comletely impegnable in the recent rain, allows for lots of movement, beautifully made and a really nice cut.
I am, however, prone to getting a bit of a bead on and it is VERY warm - clearly designed for the Milwaukee winter rather than our softy British sort.
Can't make the trackday for show and tell unfortunately, but I'd definitely recommend it.

Wow Fantastic! Ordered Friday late PM, they advised 3 working days. It arrived Tuesday.
I've worn it only twice and am considering buying others. -

My windbreaker arrived yesterday. Very nice.
What size did you get? I'm about 6'2 but quite slim, so am tempted to go for the M but what do you reckon? -
• #75
I'm also 6'2", I've got big long monkey arms, and the L windbreaker's arms are even long for me.
In other Swrve news, I finally gave up thinking of a reason not to buy the Milwaukee hoodie, and found one in BLB on Friday. £90 with LCC discount, and it is indeed rather splendid. Did a few miles about town in it last night, and it's warm enough to wear while walking, as well. Even though walking is rubbish, of course. Anyway, it fits well, is comfortable, and doesn't have crap logos/branding on it, which I particularly like.
Corny, ordered one and it arrived toot-sweet. That is some heavy material though, way thicker than I expect so it should be super duper toasty warm.* If you're going to crip-walk down to Sarf drinks at some point let me know and I'll bring it down for inspection.
*But I am a sweaty bas-tard to begin with so it may be too warm. We'll see.
