Interestingly a guy turned up to the Welwyn track earlier this season with the same bike that started this thread the Ti-Raleigh professional and it looks even better in the flesh. He now brings it out every week and thrashes the ar5e off it. Utterly gorgeous bike, stunning. ooh.

Not as pretty though as the original Holdsworth that turned all primed up all primed and pimped with a Mercian (Molteni orange) paintjob a few weeks ago. Will take camera with next time I go as I can't race with broken shoulder so will take photos for all to drool over.

Nearly got one of those bridgestone's some dude selling them off, my size £800. Then I realised I would look a right tool in the bottom group with one of those.

Gum tyres look nice, been thinking about them for a while. Anyone know if such a thing exists in a 700 x 23 slick? That one looks a bit fat and knobbly.

i don't think he meant actually the same, just similar i.e. the same colours and finishes in the same places and a similar effect. similar. i know you know this but someone had to say it.

That rear wheel's seen action, looks like he's been doing chain-grinds or some other such freestyle maneuver.

Also notice that the wheel is russian made

it's definitely for mucking about - note the gear ratio.

of course it doesn't, a Golf is twice the height, narrower, flabbier and quite linear than the Ferrari, so yes it will stick out like a sour thumb, all I'm saying is the colour co-ordination is precisely what I wanted on my bike, but with a blue nitto drop.

the car analogy rarely work when pretty much every road/track bike frame look similar to one other, I mean the basic design is two triangle welded together, nothing much (beside the other drastic design).

Even with the HEDI, I rather like the look of this bike;
