it is, but some of us have to travel with work, so i am still a member, even though i am in France, because i will be back in London..............
Then i move to Brasil, but i will want to find out what is going on in the world of fixed gear all over the world, in the same way i am on various cycling forums all over the world.

it's a swing-lens panorami*c camera, so it can fit everyone in without needing to crop the photo.

we got a pro photographer here, I wonder if he's avaiable to take a decent snap of the whole gangs?

I can actually used a Holga as a panoramic camera simply by carefully advancing the film to make it fit evenly.*

How many people would roughly be there? I've got a 350d with an 18-55mm lens, that's fairly wide, i reckon that'd be fine for 50 ish riders?

30mm equation, and 8 megapixels may be a tad small if you were to crop it, unless you can managed to fit everyone neatly in a 6x4.5 crop.

guys this does sound like a great idea but i wouldn't it be nice to have as many members we could in the pic... ? I think if we all put our heads together and came up with an activity *ride, or otherwise where we could all aim to be in a week or so then we'd be able to really get a nice pic.

much better idea. Let's set aside technical talk about cameras (that was how the last thread about this died!) and do this at an event.

So we are NOT doing this today!

right now the options are:

1. trackday 2 @ HH on the 21st
   
2. BFF polo on the 5th Oct.
   
   
   

other options could be a dedicated activity ride, as per Jacqui's suggestion, though organising a ride might be beyond my skills (I can barely manage to organise the contents of my underpants)...

Acutally i would like to see a pic of all the BFF voulunteers and organisers taken at one point (say at a afterparty or before the opening night even) as I think they deserver recognition...
could that happen too?? There's a huge cross over here too i suspect.

kay. I'm all over the BFF tournament. If you can get all the volunteers together at a specific date / time and let me know, then we can do this thing.

I can't make the HH track day until late unfortunately, thougth I will be there.

Will everyone (else) be at BFF polo? I guess so, in which case we have a date! I'll post a time once we've set something up around the volunteers.
