I can't wear lenses as I have a very severe astigmatism. My normal specs are varifocals but for cycling I have some Bolle goggles which have three different colour shades (one plain) to insert over prescription lenses. They hold on well, are light and keep crap out of my eyes. Because they are single focus I can't read anything when wearing them but tend not to read the paper while commuting to work. My optician told me that I was too old for laser treatment and my astigmatism would render it worthless in any event.
