does anyone know who has a orange Eddie Mercx, saw it chained up in bond street opposite Route One on saturday lunchtime....
-
• #704
yeah saw the yellow mercx too on saturday, tidy little build, saw johny from this fair forum on saturday as well, too far away to say hello though and might of seemed a little stalker-ish.
Had a few nice heckles while riding up bear road yesterday and today, really they should be more inventive than yelling freak. There's plenty of other things they can take he piss out of me for...

thanks Lee, that was a fun end to the season, relieved to get a good win in. i should have done a bit better, but every race was a first for me, the tactics are more obvious now so i should be a better racer next season for it... i quite fancy having a crack at winning the B league... will have to train to increase my cadence first though. i just can't spin fast enough to get the top end speed!
i rode a bigger gear than i should have on wednesday which flared up my injury, so won't be out for social rides unless they're very gentle - so no brakeless beacon descents for a while!
how's the pinarello build going Kelvin?
saw that merckx in town a couple of times yesterday, looks nice - think it's a SS.

trying to get all the bits together, might be needing a bit of advice borrowing of tools off you all.
Having the most trouble with the cranks I ought to just shell out for a miche set and get baker street to fit them but i'm to tight and keep missing out on the bay by a few quid
